Oh horrible recession: take the banks, ravage the high street but please don't take Luella!! It has been announced that the Luella brand has lost its financial backing and the lovely ss10 collection will not be shipped. I am saddened by this terrible news; we must hope and pray that someone will step in and save this wonderful brand.
Disclaimer: I don't really want banks to go bust, but this is the first blow by the recession that really matters to me personally.

So sad ... I love Luella, too. It's such a girly and feminine brand.
We are still trading though! I spent all day fielding calls today from people asking if we're still open and we are! There are some great bargains to be had too! We're not planning on going anywhere soon either. We've had a few heartless clients being quite harsh but on the whole people have been lovely and it's helping to keep our spirits up! So thanks everyone for all the support, it means so much! <3
That it is indeed very sad news. I hope they will make it through somehow...
