Brum days

My final design for fashion. :) The pattern's nearly done now after a mega session yesterday afternoon.
Today I went off to Birmingham, home of the Bullring and more importantly Selfridges, to meet up with Emma and do some more cafe drawings.
We went to Debenhams in the Bullring, up on the top floor the view makes for an interesting composition.
There's something a little odd about this coffee cup... can you spot what it is?
I love the sewing machines in the All Saints window display.

Um yeah, you may have been thinking that the a famous shopping destination+Florrie+another shopoholic isn't the best idea for a shopping ban, and I must confess to a slip up. The main point of the trip was to get some images for Fine Art, but I did decide last night I wanted one specific thing. The others weren't too costly, but still the birthday fund shrinks a little. Ah well, I must renew my efforts (and not leave the house with more than £5 till the 28th) and do a purchase post tomorrow!

Asides from the fact that my tall vanilla cream intentionally had no coffee in it (I would not have been best pleased to find that surprise in it to be honest when I asked for vanilla, hehe), the problem was that the coffee cup had brought along a friend. Nope Leia's eyes were not deceiving her, for some special/crazy reason I got two different sizes in one. :)

*chants* I know what is wrong with the starbucks drink *in a 5 year old like fashion*
I do like that picture of the bull btw - very dramatic. Loving the design for the dress too, although I told you that earlier! Sorry about your shopping ban slip, if it helps your b'day pressie buys aside I am positive I spent more :D

I find ways to spend money in a situation that shouldn't be possible, like going to the shop for milk and bread and some how losing £20 :(

You are such an excellent designer! I wish I had your talent. And no I can't see anything odd about the coffee cup... except it looks more filled with cream than coffee! And it looks like it has a double layer of plastic, but that could just be me imagining things. I give up, give us the answer please! :P

I'm currently under a shopping ban as well... LOL. It's not even self-imposed!
