Sweet Shop- pastel perfection

Mixing patterns and textures, tweed with florals, Liberty prints, extravagant hair accessories and plenty of frivolous bows, not a pair of trousers in sight, candy pastel colours, gingham, pearls, oversized snuggly cardigans, suede effect court shoes, prim structured bags and plenty of Luella spring/summer 2009. No I'm not talking about my wardrobe (though it is a rather a good match no?) but my favourite editorial ever style wise. It comes from the Glamour UK March 2009 issue, and I think it is rather divine.
Photographer: Coliena Rentmeester, fashion editor: Sarah Clark, hair: Miok at Judy Casey, make up: Charlotte Day at See Management, model: Shu Pei at Next.
I must confess that the third look (above left) is not quite so appealing to me but I would most contentedly wear the rest- it would actually make the most lovely capsule wardrobe.
I realised today that a hair clip (below left) is actually the same Johnny Loves Rosie one I bought in London this summer.
The whole thing just makes me happy, and I find it highly inspiring. Whether it is just perfectly 'me' or whether I'm always subconsiously inspired by it I don't know, perhaps both.

Whilst on the topic of bows, I'm getting to use my extensive ribbon collection for samples in my fashion coursework; well I did choose Luella as an artist.
I can see myself wearing them all after- I fancy buying some basic brooches and hair clips to attach them to.
