Floral Festivities- the outfits

Thank you for all the floral outfits that have been sent in-they are all lovely and make a beautiful collection. There's such a wide variety of prints too, and I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do and make sure to visit all of the blogs of those featured as they're a talented group.
First there is my lovely best friend, Emma. She is wearing a very impressive amount of floral things, eleven in fact! Headband, earrings, ring, bag, necklace, ribbon, tights, shoes, dress, top, jacket. I think the key to making an outfit like this work is a colour palette and doesn't she look pretty! To quote the lady herself, her favourite flower is; 'Its that tiny white little one they always tuck into other bunches of flowers. Gypsophilia I think its called'.

Leia of Leia's Delights Leia tells me, 'I chose this picture because not only am I wearing florals, but I've got a flower in my hair and am surrounded by pretty flowers, too! I wore this skirt on a day trip to Kew Gardens because I thought it might be fun to dress up in florals while frolicking amongst the blossoming blooms! While I love ALL flowers, especially orchids, unusual roses, and lilies, I would have to say that the sunflower is my favorite. When I was young, we had a sunflower patch in our garden, and I remember they were so tall that they were even taller than I was! (Granted, I was very little at the time). But I also had a yellow sunflower dress, and my father used to tell me his favorite color was yellow because I looked so pretty in that dress! So sunflowers definitely have a special place in my heart.' She got her amazing See by Chloe skirt in the Outnet sale for £1 (lucky girl).
Amy of Confessions of a Fashion Editor I know Amy here isn't a naturally a dress and florals person but the delights of Cath Kidston tempted her to try. I'm not allowed to say I'm proud of her or she'll never wear a dress again but doesn't she looks so pretty in the soft pink tones and ditsy print. A very feminine look.

This fabulous prom style dress was worn out and about in London by my fellow Phanatic here. Elegant but youthful and perfect for the occassion. The print is just so pretty.

Harriet of where is harriet? What a romantic dress, juxtaposed with a more modern belt. I love the contrasts in this outfit; the soft colours paired with an acid one.
Pearl of Fashion Pearls of Wisdom
Pearl has put together an outfit which is entirely vintage except for her fabulous Chanel shoes. She got the shirt at the Manchester vintage store Retro Rehab and cinched it in at the waist with a belt. Her favourite flowers are lilies, poppies and camellias. I think the last one is perhaps not so surprising considering her Chanel obsession!

MIS PAPELICOS Here not only are two floral prints paired beautifully together but she actually embroidered the wonderful skirt herself. It must be amazing to not only own something so beautiful but know you created that beauty yourself. To say I am impressed is an understatement.

Rachel of Mon Polkadot Cheri My love of mixing prints does not stop at florals and nautical stripes are also a favourite trend so I love how the two have been put together here. Rachel here also seems to share my weakness for pearls and actually made the corsages herself at college, the clever girl. And how could I not love that tea cup!

Reena of Fashion Daydreams A relaxed summer outfit kept chic with heels and gorgeous jewellery. Reena's pastel coloured Miss Selfridge skirt is ever so pretty. It has to be said the girl has gorgeous sunglasses and hair which also help! Her favourite flowers are cala lillies, peonies and cherry blossom.
OK, onto the winners. It seems only other than myself only Emma challenged herself to an entirely floral outfit which I am very, very impressed with. As she's my best friend, although she will be getting the most florals in an outfit prize, she is my best friend and I don't want to look biased. So I am choosing not one but two other outfits for a prize and I adore them both.

And the girls behind those outfits are Leia, for her gorgeous ensemble, down to the flower in her hair which goes exquisitely with her skirt. I love how she's put a basic tee-shirt with her striking skirt but also stayed smart with chic black accessories in her LV speedy and Vivienne Westwood shoes, which have a red accent tying them in too.
The other is Harriet. Her dress has a beautiful print and she chose to pair it with a slightly unusual cardigan, in a colour reminiscent of Luella ss09. A youthful play on a ladylike look.
