Grace Kelly: Style Icon
At the V&A I managed to drag myself away from the beautiful hydrangeas and to the Grace Kelly:Style Icon exhibition which runs until 26th September 2010. It's a good job it's running a long time too as it took me several London trips to actually make it! One time I was so close I was in the building and bought related items at the shop, but I didn't have time to queue for tickets and have a proper look before my meeting and so opted to try again. Though sadly no photography was allowed in side the exhibition this wonderful dress stood just outside of it, and isn't it lovely:
The exhibition includes the most gorgeous ladylike dresses dating from her time as an actress to being a Princess. It's definitely worth a visit. I'll try and photograph the postcards I got to show some more variety. The shop also has the most amazing themed merchandise in and I'll have to show you what I bought- my favourites being the Dents gloves.

That dress is very beautyfull!!!
That dress is so gorgeous. The whole exhibition sounds great.
I really need to get myself organised to see this and the Margelia before they end!
She was never my favourite actress and I found her beautiul but plain at the same time. Never the less the dresses of the era are out of this world and it is so kind of you to show us, who live away, a pic.
