Fresh as a Daisy: Zalando Review

I was very kindly offered the chance to pick something out from a website called http://www.zalando.co.uk/, and having had a look round, liking what I saw, I gladly accepted. Zalando is company that is established in Germany, but is fairly new to the UK, specialising in a wonderful shoe selection but also selling lots of lovely clothes. A variety of labels are stocked, some household names and some a little more unusual, in womens, mens and childrens wear. For the purposes of the review I was given a voucher code to allow me to shop like a normal customer.

The website is quite easy to work your way round despite the large number of products because it is well organised. The shipping and returns are free, which I think is a huge bonus when it comes to online shopping, and makes you feel that bit more confident about ordering. The delivery is also speedy and my parcel arrived in the promised 2-3 days and very neatly packaged.
Looking around the website I fell for the super sweet Vero Moda Daisy dress in red. It also looks pretty in blue, but I've recently been feeling the need for more red in my wardrobe. It's floral and has a Peter Pan collar, how could anyone expect me to resist the cuteness? It's one of my more casual dresses with a slouchy rather than structured feel, but is really comfortable and could be dressed up or down. Now the sun has decided to make an appearance I think it's perfect for lazy summer days.
I also got a top from Anna Field. It's a twist on a wardrobe staple and I really like those quirky shoulder details which play with proportion without making shoulders look boxy. Both of my garments seem really well made and fit as expected thanks to the sizing guidelines.
I am really pleased with my Zalando experience, from the polite but friendly emails to the prompt delivery to the products themselves. I'd definitely recommend shopping with this fabulous site.
