How gorgeous is the new Marie Claire Runway magazine? I suspect it actually launched the day I found it when lurking in the fashion area of my local W H Smith on Friday- my magazine stalking habit does come in handy! It's a new bi-annual collections title with the inside scoop on the four main Fashion Weeks, those naturally being New York, London, Milan and Paris. How could I resist when they put flowers and carousel ponies on the cover?
The trend collages also won me over- they're quirky but very, very pretty and my favourites include the From the Forest and Great Gatsby spreads. Then there are beautiful double page photos to drool over. The Marie Claire Runway magazine really is a joy to look at visually.
With big designer interviews with Karl Lagerfeld, Christopher Kane, Donatella Versace, Mary Katrantzou, Roland Mouret and Jason Wu as well as lots of behind the scenes action and key beauty features I think I'll be entertained by Issue 1 for a while yet!
That's not even mentioning the Runway to Russo feature (got to love Fashion Queen Anna Dello Russo), street style, accessory trends, Fashion Fortune Teller, lots more diverting features and of course the good old catwalk looks. With an RRP of £6 it's a lot of fun and really captures the buzz of Fashion Week. I'm craving my return to London Fashion Week and the cobbles of Somerset House more than ever now!
I hear there's also a Runway iPad app on the scene and marieclaire.co.uk/runway is the magazine's online home.

Florrie, I'm obsessed with this mag!!! Haha. I met you at the Selfridges S/S 2012 reveal in Birmingham, I'm not sure if you remember me? It was lovely to meet you. I'm hoping to get in a couple of dates at Fashion Week but it will be my first time so I was wondering if perhaps we could hang out? I'm only from Stoke aswell so we're located quite near to eachother, perhaps we could meet up for a coffee next week or something? Let me know!

I'm completely skint so I really shouldn't spen £6 on anything, but this magazine is so beautifully made, very cute and so inspiring. I'm going to LFW for the very first time and I'm so nervous about it :S
