I had such an amazing time at Hyper Japan Christmas 2012 in London, otherwise known as the invasion of the arpakasso as their adorable faces were soon selling out and exploring the event with their happy new owners. I just managed to nab the last little pink arpakasso from Tofu Cute and also found an adorable Hello Kitty panda plush which I couldn't resist at another store.
I love the vast variety of entertainment, guests and stalls at Hyper Japan. There are many delights in store for foodies and and I love walking round the kawaii gifts and fashion stands, finding little treasures. Stage activities varied from dramatic samurai sword demonstrations to a performance from Youtube sensation Beckii Cruel including the iconic Danjo routine.
The event really offers such a wonderfully diverse look at Japan from traditional kimonos and a display of art over the centuries to popular kawaii culture and a fashion show, and one of my favourite things is all the incredible people you meet.

Awesome! Which day did you go? I went on the Saturday, I was going to cosplay but to my horror my shorts no longer fit me. :O
But I had awesome time too.
Wow, those outfits are so creative, especially the earphone and lolly combo! Oh by the way, I wore my hat in a post today, in an outfit inspired by you, a vague nod to the Lolita colours!!!
