Swap parties are a fantastic way to find new homes for items you've been neglecting, whilst finding exciting items to refresh your own wardrobe at the same time without having to spend a single penny. I must confess I'm somewhat of a hoarder when it comes to clothes and rarely have a wardrobe clearout, but over the years my tastes have changed and I've amassed some very lovely things in need of a new home. So I was really pleased to receive an invitation to The Most Wanted Blogger Swap Shop Party run by VoucherCodes.co.uk , where I had a really lovely evening and brought back some very pretty wardrobe additions with me on the train home.
With all the fashion-hungry bloggers in attendance the team did such a fantastic job of bringing out the clothes as they arrived and running everything smoothly- luckily no catfights ensued over the gorgeous clothes! Upon arrival I bid farewell to my five garments from Gap, Wallis, Next and Monsoon in exhcange for tokens so I could set about exploring the colourful rails. My eye was immediately caught by a beautiful red polka dot dress, which I was instantly smitten with, and by the end of the night I was a very happy bunny with the wonderful things I went home with.
On to my haul:

Firstly we have the aforementioned very vintage and oh-so-fabulous frock by Closet.

I think this lace Forever 21 top will be fun to layer with and is a really versatile colour.

This Blend She jacket has a really intriguing texture to it, and at the Sew Over It customisation table I added a touch of pink lace to the pockets. It makes me think of the Mori Girl Japanese street fashion, which is a style I'd very much like to try a coord in.

It's attack of the polka dots again with this romantic dusky pink number by Dahlia, which even still has its tag on!

Black court shoes are a versatile wardrobe classic and this New Look pair has an adorable little bow.

Then last but not least I could hardly leave a My Little Pony and simply had to bring home this Junk Food t-shirt featuring the adorable G1 Princess Sparkle.

What a fun idea! I organised a swap party once! I took along a brand new Austin Reed jacket I was given (but was too big!) and got a nice floaty green top in exchange and another time got a lovely brand new pair of sand coloured clarks Mary Janes! Your items are gorgeous!x
I've always wanted to go to one of these, but worried I won't find anything I want and will be left with tokens I won't use. x
