October half term is also looked on with some nostalgia as two years ago it was quite special to me.
The only time I recall being at a Birmingham shop previously was when my sister was doing her GCSE textiles research- I was in the Mailbox and completely oblivious to Harvey Nicholls existence. But that year I'd been looking at the Louis Vuitton website and looking at all the lovely items on sale. I looked up where a store was and decided to save my money for a scarf.
This was also the beginning of my love for Selfridges. Which seems odd now, as I go into pining mode and get withdrawal symptoms if I haven't been for a few weeks. It may sound sad but the designer floor is a 'happy place' of mine. Even when I am completely broke, I just find it lovely to walk round. What's your favourite shop? Two of my others are Chanel (Bond St) and Luella (Brook St).

Ahhh same for me, there is something so comforting about wandering Selfridges, it really is theraputic and totally helps me clear my head. I love your scarf story, I did the exact same thing with my first ever pair of Westwood boots! As for the studying - geek is chic now ;-) or thats what I keep telling myself! xx
My favourite shops are Chanel Sloane Street and Roger Vivier also Sloane Street and Selfridges.
