Oh my, a second award! =D

I have been rather subdued the last few days, but now the reason why (a hospital trip) has passed and I promise to be much more jolly. Well I hope I shall still be when I get the results! On to more pleasant things:

The wonderful dustjacket attic (http://dustjacketattic.blogspot.com/) kindly nominated me for the Honest Scrap Award. Thank you so much! :)

Here are the rules I must follow:
1. Say Thank You and give a link to the presenter of the award
2. Share "10 Honest Things" about myself
3. Present this award to 7 others whose blogs I find brilliant in content and/or design, or those who have encouraged me.
4. Tell those 7 people that they have been awarded HONEST SCRAP and inform them of these guidelines.

1. I can play flute, piccolo and piano.
2. I am vegetarian.
3. I am Christian.
4. I get excited when I see Hello Kitty items in shops, though not necessarily to buy them. I like looking. :)
5. I like playing designer handbag I-spy. Seeing Chanel in particular makes me happy. =]
6. I should be doing my A levels, but sadly missed a lot of school last year and have started my AS levels again- but actually doing different subjects and I'm really loving my new college!
7. I managed to get through the entire school system without a single detention. Quite a feat as at my second high school prefects detentions were very easy to acquire. But I was terrified of getting one despite them being the norm. I am most definitely a perfectionist.
8. I have the most wonderful parents I could wish for.
9. I am going to be 18 in January- an actual adult. Scary stuff.
10. I am going to be planting tulips soon so that my front garden will be ever so pretty come spring time- my favourite season. And then I can take lots of photos to show you. =D

I'm giving the award to blogs that are very personal, not just posting fashion news. In Fashion & Textiles A Level it's really important to have 'primary research' that is yours alone and no one else could have. These bloggers use a lot of their own photos, concentrate on their own outfits, or just write with a very personal and open view about their opinions and experiences. Again I'm wanting to include more, time to come up with a Florrie award that I can give to any number of people? But anyway, that's how I'm approaching distributing this one.

Congrats on another award. Hoping for the best on that hospital thing. Keep smiling and be positive.

I also get excited on Hello Kitty items at my age. You can never outgrow them I assure you.

Hey Florrie - hope u r ok after ur hospital visit. Congrats on the award and thank you so much for sending it on to me - on my b'day too!! I hope u enjoy ur trip to Manchester - I guess u wont have much time if u are with ur college group, but if you do ever have more time, I am happy to be ur tour guide - we have some great shops and the famous Aflecks palace which is like a multi-story market/ store full of kitch and vintage and Hello Kitty - I actually made a range of Kitty jewellery (when I had to time to design jewellery), will have to see if I can find any of it! xx
