I found out about Aspiring Couture through their blog, they have an online boutique featuring some lovely independent fashion designers and there's lots of pretty clothes to be found.
They are putting on a Winter on the Runway fashion show, featuring the latest collection of 20 different designers. It all sounds very fabulous, but sadly I am hundreds and hundreds of miles away and so cannot make it! But I thought I'd share it with you all the same. :) Satura Cakes will be providing all the desserts, several newspapers will be covering the event, Rebecca Minkoff is partnering with Aspiring Couture and the collections are all new and quite beautiful! Designers will be offering a chance to win special discounts, and few freebies (oooooooooooooohhh).
The details: the first show is at 3:00pm followed by a second show at 7:00pm on 12th December in downtown Palo Alto, California at the Women's Club of Palo Alto. You can purchase tickets on the website. Apparently there will be some sneak peaks on the blog too. :D Well I am very envious of those who go, as it sounds like you'll have a gorgeous time. :)
