Brrrr

The cold has well and truely set in, and my fingers are not happy about it! Time to invest in some gorgeous winter pieces. I have a strong urge to layer socks a la Burberry ss10.

When it gets cold..

But in the meantime I shall be layering my summer dresses (no weather shall make me give up my florals) for college. What can I say, I like mixing patterns. :) What do you do with your bracelets and bangles in winter? I find it tricky with all the long sleeves and cardigans going on and off, and so am have been discovering some lovely necklaces.

Layering

My fashion project has now been handed in (yay!), so it's 'just' the fine art to go for thursday. College did a trip to the UCAS art and design event today, which has left me much to ponder upon. Oh the dreader future..

I envy your cold weather. Wish I can be where you are now so that I can layer clothes as well.

I know: its so cold these days! But loving the sets you made. Just looking at them makes me warmer.
I have the same problem with bracelets. I have no idea what to do with them, and the same with rings because I'm always wearing gloves (yes, even indoors). But I'll definitely look into necklaces as a winter accessory.

Well done on giving your project in :) Its sooo cold: can you layer jumpers?? Hmmm... Definitely having jewellery issues like Sherin: rings + gloves isn't working so well! Oh well, very lovely choices, Florrie, esp the earrings!!

I'm a big fan of putting bangles OVER long sleeves, for some reason.
I fail at winter dressing. I just look like I can't dress myself, I have no warm clothes and so just wear ratty old cardigans and summer dresses with non-matching (and not in a good way) scarves and just look terrible. Urgh!

Florrie you need to get some elbow length fingerless knitted gloves - like leg warmers for your arms, I layer my bangles over them, and unlike gloves you can still use your hands ha ha xx
