I'm the crazy pattern lady

Patterned dress, rose print scarf, tie dye cardigan, ditsy floral print blouse, heart print socks- just a normal work outfit. =)
I was incredibly assertive (well for me anyway) last week and knowing that the main teacher for the class I help teach at work would be absent, volunteered to cover! After a week of pondering over whether this was really so wise I'm very pleased to discover I could do it and manage not to have a complete disaster with 14 or so little children. :] Still it was very hard work. We did some drama activities, learnt another section of the song we're going to perform at the end of term and I choreographed a little dance to 'A Friend Like Me' from Aladdin- a disney film which I believe is actually going to premiere on TV tomorrow. I had the old school VHS tape when I was little and also performed the stage version at high school. I was really pleased with how the dance turned out today it's a fun song that makes you want to dance away and the kiddies recognised it. I do like my job, it's difficult at times but really worth it.
I'm heading back to the lovely Bicester Village tomorrow for another Luella (and there are some other shops there too!) spree as the presence of a shopping ban seems to have worked for saving up. Now me needs some sleep as there's a long car journey ahead. Night night!

I have just invested in some heart socks myself. Love the mixture of colours and patterns in your outfit. Glad all is going so well with the teaching.
