Time for tea and roses

Today I visited David Austin roses for college research. I first visited last summer when all of the roses were at their best and it was such an incredibly pretty sight, I ought to share the photos with you sometime. Alas today they were all pruned back and looking rather more like twigs, which was quite an odd contrast.
Today I went for afternoon tea in the cafe which really is a pretty little place and what beautiful tea cups they have- you can actually buy them in the shop which is also full of lovely, elegant things.

Even without the flowers the garden was still very nice to stroll round, and I must say it was much less crowded than in the summer.

This peacock was absolutely beautiful walking round the grounds.

Marc by Marc Jacobs bag, Oasis headband, Fendi sunglasses, H&M scarf and belt, Wallis coat, Monsoon dress, New Look shoes.

OMG beautiful garden!!!! How magical with that peacock. Your outfit was perfect too for the occasion. Wish we could have some tea and roses right now instead of having to go back to work!
