Out into the countryside

Today I went with my parents to the Peak District in Derbeyshire for walks and I don't object to photographing such beautiful scenery. Plus there were lots of adorable lambs to be seen. The area's a comfortable drive from where we live so now that the sun's come out I guess we'll be making quite a few visits.

Please excuse the footwear change in the above photo but there are few shoes I would like to be ruined with mud and sometimes stilettos just aren't appropriate.

The above church at Ilam is actually the one R N Clarke painted.

There used to be a railway line along the Tissington Trail where we walked today.

These were some of the little lambs I saw today, aren't they just the loveliest things?

Occasionally I ponder upon being an equine artist. Last year one life drawing class somehow turned into a horse drawing class which I really enjoyed and then I was asked to draw a horse for a mural and over the summer I discovered that they really aren't all as cooperative as you might like.
