The V&A hydrangeas

This summer is time for me to start researching my A2 coursework projects, which makes a lovely excuse to go to museums and galleries. I've even managed to fit in Laduree macaroons!
Taking some time for fresh air I wandered into the V&A courtyard and was greeted by the most wonderful hydrangeas I've ever seen!
They stretched all the way down one side, a little further than can be seen in this photo, and all the way down the opposite side too! As you can see it was a lovely, sunny day and they just looked magnificent. I don't know how recently I've rambled on about it, but I am completely obsessed with hydrangeas so this made me very happy indeed.
It must also be said there were some very nice agapanthus as well, but they are just not so magical as the hyrdrangeas. Now if only the ones in my garden were as good! *sighs dreamily*

Holy moly, Florrie! That second photo makes me want to leap into the hydrangeas!!! They look like they'd make a perfect pillow. Quite beautiful, indeed.

hi; you are so cute and I love your outfits and full pout (mouths can be just as expressive as eyes don't you think) and of course your adorable blog.
I love hydrangeas and have heard that the vibrancy of shade and whether it is blue or purple depends on the vitamins in the soil? these ones are ridiculous, I never saw one that changed color within the actual blooms themselves.
