On holiday there's a whole range of charity shops to rummage through and I so I set aside a couple of hours to head round them all. And when I saw Miffy here for 49p how could I resist? She's actually an unused coin bank devoid of the candy which originally came in her- thank goodness as it seems it was made in 2001! She's a little ray of sunshine cuteness.I do like Miffy and she is very cheerful, but Hello Kitty is my true passion when it comes to cute animals in clothes. (Though is you want high end fashion head to Luella wearing Fifi Lapin.)Maybe it's partly down to the colour palettes as Hello Kitty is very feminine whereas Miffy colours are quite andronygous in comparison.
The Kitty money box pictured was found in Debenhams Birmingham a few months back and I couldn't resist the colours- they're so unlike any Kitty I had seen up to that point.
Going back to the post title; it has struck me that neither Hello Kitty of Miffy smile, but that is besides the point as they make me smile which is what's important wouldn't you agree? :-)

hello kitty doesn't have a mouth because she speaks directly from the heart
I do agree, one should always go for whatever makes you smile and be happy...
Awww, they're adorable. Yup, It is important that they make you smile, even if they don't smile themselves.
