Birthday things from London

Well attempting to finish my coursework hasn't finished me off yet, so today I'm showing you some of the lovely things I got on my birthday trip to London.
Firstly, in the aim of having a yummy week even before it was time for birthday cake and also to extend the celebrations a supply of vanilla cupcakes of Lola's Cupcakes at Harrods: scrumptious.

Well my infatuation with the new season florals from D&G is no secret and I came across this lookbook whilst browsing the womenswear, still at Harrods. Isn't it gorgeous! I don't think I'll ever get tired of that glorious floral print and have a plan to get it framed. The clothes themselves didn't disappoint either- so beautiful.Photobucket
Here's my Hello Kitty <3 Harrods t shirt. It's so nice of them to do both children's and adult sizes. OK, it makes business sense thanks to people like me- brands, please take note of this and make more! The range is stocked in the gift section.

Up in the children's section I had more fun and got the most amazing carrier bag marking Sanrio's 50th anniversary. I saw the Kitty in the pink glasses and exclaimed, 'It's me!' and it did make my mum laugh when I brought it home.

More Hello Kitty things: the notebook and earbuds and Paperchase balloons (which are now making my room a cheerful one) are from Harods and the collectable is from a machine requiring two £1 coins within Selfridges. I discovered a whole new section of Hello Kitty delights in Selfridges near the sweets and cute gifts.

Phantom of the Opera programe and brouchure from Her Majesty's Theatre.

Miss Selfridge, erm I'm not quite sure what to call it! Evening jacket? Well you can see and make your own mind up, though they colour did not photograph too prettily compared to real life. Bought within Selfridges I already have an occasion in mind for it as I have an evening dress and shoes I think it will look lovely with.

A Miu Miu bracelet from Selfridges. It's so pretty! Yet also unlike anything I already have.
Photobucket
Lula magazine! I'd had no luck finding the latest issue but having wondered into W H Smith within Selfridges I thought I'd try my luck and found the elusive publication.

All photographed on a Hello Kitty table cover from a previous visit to Selfridges London.

I love the D & G florals too. Spend my whole day trying to think up ways of justifying buying the Mimosa dress.

Love all your pretty and cute things. I hope that you had a lovely birthday.

That is one amazing kitty haul! Too jealous and now considering leaving this page 'accidentally' open on our computer for pre-valentines hints to hubby. Kitty rocks!
