September saw my first LFW and what a whirlwind it was, though I missed the first two days of shows due to my own art exhibition. This time I'm staying for the duration of the event which is wonderful. For the last few days I've been trying to get my head around the pile of beautiful invites I've been sent. It's an honour to receive every one and I feel a very lucky bunny.
The invites are of course a source of intrigue in themselves, offering a glimpse into the mind of the designer and their new season ideas. So I thought I'd photograph some which I am particularly curious about!
Fam Irvoll lives up to her cute and clever cartoonish reputation with a super fun invite in ice cream colours with the theme Monstermash.
Elisa Palomino blew me away last season with her stunning collection and this invite is absolutely beautiful. The print is divine and it actually subtly shimmers.
Meanwhile the Bernard Chandran invite had a very different take on florals with a dark cutout invite.
The Rococo period in art history is very much one I love so I was really excited to see a lady in full 18th century attire on the Jeff Garner of Prophetik invite! With a little masquerade mystery too.
Holly Fulton's prints are always amazing, but I really love how very pink this one is!

I love the Bernard Chandran one! The dark florals and brushstrokes have something of the late 50s about them, to my mind- mystery and intrigue.
It'd be nice to create a collage wouldn't it of each seasons?xx
