By The Seaside

A couple of weeks ago I headed to Llandudno in North Wales for a breezy day at the seaside with my parents. Its a location I've visited many times over my childhood so it holds a lot of nostalgia for me. We started the day on the sunny prom and I made a quick shopping spree before lunch on the West Shore, stocking up on tempting craft supplies and also finding an adorable My Little Pony I couldn't bare to leave in a charity shop- she's a generation three Pinkie Pie and I think rather cute.
Around town I spotted some intriguing Alice in Wonderland carvings by Simon Hedger, depicting the White Rabbit, the Queen of Hearts, the Mad Hatter and Alice herself, though she looks somewhat grumpy having drunk from a certain bottle labelled Drink Me. 
I was a little sad when the Invalid Walk towards Haulfre Gardens on the Great Orme defeated my ankles and knees which were suffering from a fibromyalgia flare up, but my dad drove me up to the cafe to indulge in an ice cream and then we headed to the pier, which is filled with treasures including a Hello Kitty car ride! Our day finished at the top of the Great Orme with a picnic and oh the sunshine was glorious! Llandudno's such a lovely town and I really enjoyed my day.
