The West End Goes East
There are so many wonderfully exciting events happening for Vogue's Fashion's Night Out this Thursday so I'm really sad to be missing them all as I'll be here in the countyside that day. When I was in London on Friday however I popped into the fabulous vintage store which is Beyond Retro at 58-59 Great Marlborough Street where an amazing cute pink poster soon caused my Hello Kitty radar to go off. Also featuring kawaii street styles such as fairy kei and lolita it was advertising their intriguing The West End Goes East event.
On the evening of 6th September from 6-9pm Beyond Retro's Japanese street style influenced Rainbow Grunge collection will be showcased, inspired by designers such as Jeremy Scott, Ashish and the incredible Fam Irvoll. There will also be a rather fun sounding Kawaii Karaoke Korner and complimentary drinks and sushi, so altogether it sounds rather delightful!
An extremely lovely staff member also asked me for a photo whilst I was visiting and kindly featured me on the Beyond Retro blog.
