Today I spent a lovely afternoon with a few friends in Manchester. We went to the beautiful Richmond Tea Rooms on Richmond Street, with its gorgeous interior and Alice in Wonderland theme. The first time I visited was at a Christmas meet last year and this time we had a table in the whimsical 'greenhouse' set up in the corner of the tea rooms, making for a wonderfully relaxing time of tea and cake amidst the twinkling Christmas lights.
If these photos have got your mouth watering why not pick up a set of Cook's Books and see if you can become star baker of your household.

The colours in your outfit are so pretty, perfect antidote to the dark winter days. The tea room looks lovely. x
Super cute Florrie! Was so fun yesterday. I hope you are feeling well!!! x
Oooh, those cakes are dreamy- the way you have taken them makes them look very whimsical! Pretty outfit too! I'd love to be able to make a headdress like that. I tried to make some Hello Kitty earrings yesterday and the wretched things took me hours and I am not too sure of the result! Oh well!
How have I never been here?! I must seek it out!
