Shoesday: Nautical But Nice

The espadrille has long been a classic Summer companion throughout the decades, offering cosy and comforting chic on many a holiday caper and seaside stroll. Red, white and blue are of course the traditional and iconic marine colours- a timelessly cheerful colour palette. Spots and stripes are always sweet, and woven fibres evoke the hardy feeling of rope. Wedges are a Summer staple, whilst not quite so practical stiletto heels have a glamorous vintage feel, which playful Brazilian brand Cristofoli does fabulously well.
