Despite feeling absolutely shattered from my new migraine treatment, I was determined not to miss seeing friends on Saturday and headed to the Austen & the Abbey lolita fashion event at Leamington Spa, held in the Royal Pump Rooms. I'd never been to Leamington Spa before but was won over from the moment I stepped off the train and spied flowers on the platform! It seems a really lovely town and one I'd definitely like to explore further on another occasion!
Accessories wise I decided to theme my outfit around my beautiful new Irregular Choice shoes. I love the floral print and the oversized bow is such an adorable touch to finish off the court shoes, plus the mid-sized heel was really comfortable, which is always most welcome! On this day I wore a fairly plain dress with them, but they'd also be really fun for pattern mixing.
Designers of the Japanese lolita brands Atelier Pierrot and Fairy Wish came all the way over to Warwickshire for the event, as well as Coco of the musical Gothic & Lolita unit Die Milch. It was such a delight to see such beautiful clothes modelled and listen to Coco's amazing performances.
