My Summer Adventure Playlist

A good soundtrack certainly helps to pass the time on long jouneys, and I was recently invited to take part in MoneySupermarket's Ultimate Summer Driving Playlist. Though I can't actually drive myself, I seem to spend an awful lot more time sitting on trains, whether it's to see friends or attend events.
I'm a longterm musical theatre fan and my absolute favourite is The Phantom of the Opera- I'd guess the title song is my most played track by a long way! In the last couple of years I've also been discovering J-Pop, and more recently also become determined to learn Japanese and sing along, so hear are some of my favourite artists...

I've mentioned my love of kawaii sensation Kyary Pamyu Pamyu's music before, and Ponponpon is my go-to track for when I need motivation as it's just so fun and cheering! Her music always makes me feel a little happier and brightens up my day. Not only is she known for her music but also her incredible style and has long caught the eye of many street style photographers as well as been a model for Kera! magazine. As part of her 100% KPP World Tour 2013 she came to London this February and I was ridiculously excited to see her live!

At Hyper Japan last month super adorable model and singer Yun*chi performed, and I was also lucky enough to meet her at a photo opportunity! Yun*chi has a beautiful voice and having debuted her first album in November last year I think we'll be seeing a lot more of her!

As well as providing the perfect soundtrack for Summer adventures, all of the artists I am featuring have an amazing and inspiring sense of style which blends perfectly with their music, and that is definitely true of Gothic & Lolita unit Die Milch- a pair of magical dolls creating music together. Sadly Jasmine could not come from Japan to showcase her wonderful violin playing, but Coco came across to England especially for the Austen and the Abbey event last month to play piano and sing. She's the most enchanting performer as well as being incredibly sweet in her stunning Atelier Pierrot outfit.
So there are my picks, what are your favourite songs to listen to this Summer?

I had to laugh so hard about the name of the last artist xD It is funny how the use normal German words and make it into a band name...would be interesting why they chose this onw though :) Really nice playlist~
