Tatton Deer part 2

I just got back from the R N Clarke exhibition opening, and had a lovely time. I've also really enjoyed my college induction days and can't wait to start the proper art lessons.
A comment on the last Tatton Deer post reminded me to put up some more pictures. It was amazing how close I got.
Thank you ever so to you, the lovely people who read my blog, your comments make me really happy. =)

Tatton Deer

There were so many lovely deer at Tatton Park, and they actually let me come very close. I think putting all the photographs of them in one post might be a tad overwhelming so I'm separating them up. =)
Peek-a-boo. Yes we can still see you.

Ladybugs

Aren't ladybirds pretty.. the above one at Llandudno was just lovely.
I'm always happy to see one! Except when one is in my sock, which is already on my foot.
I have no idea whatsoever how it got there. But having put my socks on a minute before, I walked about a little and felt something on the bottom of my foot. Assuming it was a wood shaving (I'm used to them being everywhere) I removed the lump and was suprised to see an apparently unharmed ladybird. Who had left a lovely excretion on my sock. The socks had previously been in a kind of ball together and I've no clue how it got there, I'm just glad it wasn't harmed, so that was rather interesting.

The attack of...

I saw a black caterpillar on Cannock Chase today and it reminded me of the ones that seemed to be taking over Llandudno's Great Orme.
The first one was scintilating, and the second cute. They were all very photogenic, but my camera memory space got scared as it began to realise just how many there were as the walk progressed...

An animal photographer's life is not easy..
I took the above photos of butterflies today at Shugborough estate. They were not overly co-operative. =)
But they were very well behaved compared to the dragonfly(s) below. There were at least two, but they would just not keep still! Not once did I see one pause or land. So it was lots of fun trying to get these pictures!
