Miss Luella Dayrell Bartley was most deservedly awarded an MBE in the new years honours list. Also; for a while the Luella website has said 'With a book and exciting new launches planned for the end of the year, roll on the rest of 2009' but sadly 2009 got a little messed up for the wonderful brand. Today's news is that Luella's style guide book is hopefully going to be published in time for fashion week this September and I shall be first in line. Hooray!

Luella is one of my favourite designers, so glad she got an MBE. I know she has gotten a lot of support from her admirers so hopefully this will mark the beginning of a turnaround for the brand.
