Bloggers Do It Better: Arm Party

This is the first time I've taken part in Pretty Shiny Sparkly's Bloggers Do It Better Challenge but I couldn't resist this month's topic of Arm Party. Don't you just love that phrase? In the past I've had quite a thing for stacking homemade bracelets so I thought it would be fun to dig the old collection out.
On my left arm is a selection of some of my pink toned beaded bracelets over a pink gingham ribbon. Then I decided to go for a contrast on my right arm with two bulky bangles. The floral one is from Primark for a bargainous £1 and I was so happy to find it! Being the floral girl I am always drawn to floral bangles, but my hands are actually quite big so I struggle to find ones that fit. The peacock feather one was acquired at a little boutique in Lichfield called Dame Olivers.
With all the arm partying going on I kept the rest of my look quite simple in a pale colour palette. I'm wearing: H&M dress and tights, New Look  shoes and a Topshop bag.
So, do you like to arm party?

Hi Florrie, I'm definitely an arm girl! Even with big cocktail rings - I just can't seem to keep them on my fingers, and necklaces feel choking after a while (except the gorgeous pearls my husband gave me before we got married - those feel like second skin). But bracelets - those I could wear all the time. Yours look great.

You're the first blog I've been on since being on holiday - I can't send email replies, so apologies for not answering sooner. I can't do anything til we're back (end of August) so this is the only way I can 'email' you - publicly. Thank you for asking me - I'd love to do it, can we do it in the future? with thanks, Jill (www.polkadot.tv)

lovely bracelets! I have almost no bracelets so I wasn't able to join the arm party.

I tend to find that bracelets annoy me a bit. Perhaps it's cos I tend to be sitting at a computer for most of the day and they bang on the desk and irritate me.

I love your two chunky bangles. The floral one is just so pretty.

I love the bead bracelets, bangles tend to fall off my hands though!
