Lolita fashion has a very delicate, genteel image, but the truth is lolitas are just as human as anyone else, with a sense of humour to match. Today I'd like to share with you the wonderful work of one of my lovely lolita friends, Elizabeth of Polyrillustration. Her witty work, inspired by everyday happening and reactions to lolita as well a beautiful outfits, always makes me smile. You can find out more about her at polyrillustration.com and I'll leave you with one last illustration I think most bloggers and tweeters can relate to:

Is there a LBD out there?

My own illustration; sorry it's smudged!
Sad but true: I do not have a classic little black dress in my wardrobe. :o
A lovely black dress with a white pan collar from Oasis that is cute in it's way yes, but not a high-glamour, pull-on-and-feel gorgeous number.

I currently have my eye on this D&G;

Dolce Dress

If money were no object, but alas it is, I would wear it with this fabulous Luella clutch and a pair of Louboutins, which are not the style pictured, but are the colour. And I would add in some simple jewellery a pair of pearls and a nice bracelet maybe.

Oh Elle

I bought a copy of UK Elle last night (I like to spread my magazines around the month or it would get rather dull by the end) and I just adore this John Galliano designed notebook that came with it.
There are also Vivienne Westwood and Giles ones to choose if you prefer- or you could splash out and get them all. ;)
