Charlotte style

It is a question often pondered upon, 'which SATC girl are you most like?' Without doubt I am a Charlotte. I love her ladylike dresses and want of the perfect bone china.

It seems I'm not the only one to be inspired by Miss York's style:

I must admit to giggling when I found this on my bedroom floor, presumably having slipped out of a magazine.
So do tell ladies, which girl (or her wardrobe) do you see the most of yourself in? Complicated answers are welcome, for example I dress more quirkily like Carrie sometimes (I'm not sure Charlotte would mismatch prints as I do, however much she approves of a nice floral dress) and have the hard working nature of Miranda. =]

Hmm, a pair of Louboutins or a rubber duck..

The current Christian Louboutin window display (assuming they haven't changed it from Thursday!). They always manage to come with something eyecatching, I loved the ballerina twirling in an ornate egg so much, with that beautiful chair.
Who'd have thought those gorgeous red soles would go so well with rubber ducks! Imagine seeing a proper game stand with Louboutins for prizes too!! =D

I've got to go London for college soon, what a drag! ;) I mean the shops, the galleries... who'd go?
My first visit actually wasn't that long ago, summer 2008 to be precise. I need to travel more.
Some of my memories from that first trip:

There are Chanel logos on lampposts. As Camilla Morton kindly informed my in one of her books (A Girl for all Seasons), so I knew to be on the lookout for one. And then there were lots!!

The Duke of Westminster put those interlocking Cs along with his crest all through the City of Westminster (W1) to declare his love for Coco. Awww.

First stop: Marc Jacobs, with a lovely floral window display.

Such a pretty window from Christian Louboutin too.

And my very first visit to Chanel! The staff (Bond Street) for so friendly, and happy to show me things, it was really fun. Not one of those 'look but don't touch, or else' shops.

And the National Gallery, with a whole room full of Degas! (or there abouts)

So my next trip will probably be full of art and fashion galleries, but a little shopping never hurts! =] Can't wait.

Sad but true: I do not have a classic little black dress in my wardrobe. :o
A lovely black dress with a white pan collar from Oasis that is cute in it's way yes, but not a high-glamour, pull-on-and-feel gorgeous number.

I currently have my eye on this D&G;

If money were no object, but alas it is, I would wear it with this fabulous Luella clutch and a pair of Louboutins, which are not the style pictured, but are the colour. And I would add in some simple jewellery a pair of pearls and a nice bracelet maybe.

Fashion Collages

So browsing around some of the IFB members' blogs, I saw collages made on the website 'Polyvore' and decided to look for myself. :)

I basically wanted to work an outfit around the Paul and Joe blouse (which I love, first spotted in Tatler magazine). The shoes are those fabulous Fred Flats I was raving about a while ago. I adore the velvet Miu Miu bag, and of course I snuck in a bit of Luella with the jacket. The quirky skirt is Marc by Marc Jacobs.

This is my very favourite dress from the Erdem aw09 collection. I love the colours and I really think the shape and colours would suit me. Right, who's got £600 to spare?? ;)

Louboutin for Laduree.

A dream combination indeed, yet also a true one.
Christian Louboutin has collaborated with the famous macaroon brand on the most divine gift boxes.
Apparently they'll be available from 11th September.

Now why oh why am I allergic to those gorgeous little macaroons?! They look too lovely to cause such a bad affect on me. Maybe the boxes will win out anyway and someone else can actually eat those lovely macaroons *sighs*

Sparkly shoes =D

A few holidays ago I came across a lovely little performing arts shop. (Masquerade in Llandudno- I was a performing arts student at the time.) There were the most gorgeous pair or silver glitter jazz shoes, they weren't in my size but we ordered them in before the end of the week, but sadly after all that they just wouldn't fit my feet well.
Browsing the Christian Louboutin website just I came across a fabulous Fred flat with silver glitter and a striking resemblance to a jazz shoe, which I must say fits the hole in my shoe collection nicely- fulfilling my desire for sparkles, and it's something that can actually be worn off stage!
Now how much are they... *sighs*

Shoes, glorious shoes!

In a recent moment of madness I decided to make an inventory of my entire wardrobe, no easy feat when you start considering items such as jewellery.
So to break it down I've started with the shoes.
