Happy birthday Vuitton and Dior!

Today it is the estimated birthday of Vuitton (left) and Dior here.
Which means they are now two years old! How they grow :)
We actually bought them in April but estimating their ages early March was about right and both my mummy and my sister have birthday's on the third of a month so it seemed a good date.
They do make me smile.
And little Chanel- Dior's daughter who shall be two herself in just a few months- joined the party too.
They shall soon be getting an extra helping of apple and lettuce but in the mean time I guess my hand will do..
Vuitton has really taken to grooming my hand the last few months and although it's a curious sensation at first I think it makes us both quite content of an evening. Dior has a little lick sometimes but Chanel is all teeth so it is best to keep one's hands away from her mouth!
I'm really lucky to have such lovely little girls, they make me really happy.

Bag Lady

I had been planning a really big post for today, but silly me I went and got a horrid migraine so I guess it shall have to wait till another day. I really should start writing these things in advance, but also think it's nice to be inspired on the day.
Anyway, what I would really like right now it a big, squishy Dior bag.

Dior bags

My lovely mum and I both fell for a lilac/move version of the pink one above in Birmingham Selfridges a while back, but now I fancy something pink and more squidgable in the same fabric as the red centre one. I shall probably have to wait till after by birthday in January to treat myself to one, but it is always nice to ponder upon them.
Which one's your favourite?

Charlotte style

It is a question often pondered upon, 'which SATC girl are you most like?' Without doubt I am a Charlotte. I love her ladylike dresses and want of the perfect bone china.

Charlotte York

It seems I'm not the only one to be inspired by Miss York's style:

I must admit to giggling when I found this on my bedroom floor, presumably having slipped out of a magazine.
So do tell ladies, which girl (or her wardrobe) do you see the most of yourself in? Complicated answers are welcome, for example I dress more quirkily like Carrie sometimes (I'm not sure Charlotte would mismatch prints as I do, however much she approves of a nice floral dress) and have the hard working nature of Miranda. =]

Earring Anniversary

Around this time last year, after six long weeks of methodical cleaning, and after many years of pining to be able to put pretty things on my ears, I finally took my first pair of diamante studs out and replaced them with oversized Topshop pearls.
Unfortunately one of the said pearls is now somewhere within the V&A, but my collection has been growing rapidly to make up for lost time- and these aren't all of them!
My very favourite pair?
These Dior lovelies, kindly given to me by mu oh-so-lovely parents for my GCSE results last year.

Pop!

I've wanted gloves like these for a very long time! I'm so happy I found nice ones that fit.
Borders is dangerous- too many unusual, very nice, expensive magazines on sale in one lovely display. Fashion overload.
