Florrie's Floral Festivities Returns

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the third annual Florrie's Floral Festivities! My blog is approaching its third birthday and to celebrate I'm launching my floral festivities once more.

I'm inviting you all to join my virtual tea party and send me a link of yourself in your floral finest to be collected together in one major flower power blog post.
There are two shiny prizes involved. One goes to a most supremely floral outfit with the highest number of flowery things in. The other goes to my favourite outfit. I'll be picking out the prizes based on the winners' taste so that I can pick something they'll really enjoy wearing.

Whatever your style to enter you just need to put together an outfit with at least one flowery thing from a ring or corsage to a head to toe floral outfit and send a photo of it to me at intrinsicallyflorrie@yahoo.co.uk 

If you would like a link to your blog, website or social media profile included send that along too. Feel free to include a couple of sentences on your outfit and I'd love to know your favourite flower! Please get your entries in to me for just under a fortnight's time at noon UK time on Friday 13th July so I can get them up the next day.

Bonjour! Jump From Paper

When a lovely email from JumpFromPaper arrived in my inbox I was certainly intrigued! Their handbags for both ladies and gentlemen are truly like nothing I've seen before with their fun 2D pop art take on a useful item.
I was an extremely happy bunny to accept a bag to review and chose the Bonjour! design as the sunshine colours particularly made me smile. I couldn't believe how promptly it arrived from Taiwan, with the most hilarious packaging to have ever arrived in my porch!
The bag really has been the most cheerful thing to both receive and use. I took it for a spin twice at London Fashion Week (outfits here and here) and whenever I use it it certainly attracts a lot of curiosity. Despite the optical illusion and flat design thanks to a handy zip at the bottom you can actually unfold a sneaky section and therefore fit a lot of your junk in it. For me this covers all the basics including sunglasses, water bottle, make up bag and purse with room to spare.
I'm so very pleased with this bag, it's brought a lot of joy with it and is practical too! JumpFromPaper is such a wonderfully innovative company from design duo Chay Su and Rika Lin and I love the work that's come from their delightful cartoon fantasy.
