Berry nice

I don't know about you but I seem to go in phases of colour- like a year ago everything I liked seemed to be turquoise (scarves, necklaces, even eyeliner). Well this is the colour palette I'm drawn towards at the moment (with a lot of red too).

Vivienne Westwood bag, Prada stockings, Mulberry shoes.

Having some glove issues.

I can only come to the conclusion that I need some new gloves, or a new super-warm cardigan, or alternatively both; because this is just not working:The clash is too much even for me.

But my fingers would have been grateful for any gloves yesterday- I went out drawing in the freezing cold and never have my fingers hurt more or been such an odd colour. Not good.

My fashion deadline at college is tomorrow, which shall be a relieve and then I've got to work on my Fine Art to hand in on Thursday, after that I may actually get a rest. :)

Don't forget Luella

Ting sent me this very lovely photo of her in a Luella for Target dress. It's such a pretty look, and the geek chic glasses are very Luella ss08. =] I love it. If you would like to join in and support the fabulous Luella Bartley in her time of need, pose in your Luella pieces or something Luella inspired and send your photos to intrinsicallyflorrie@yahoo.co.uk You can also email me with your Polyvore and Shmotter collages. Non- bloggers are most welcome to join in too. =]

Pink hair- oh yes.

Following on from yesterday, I thought I'd share my inspiration of the lovely Rachel McAdams for my next change in hair colour!
Pink hair
A kind of pretty pink that will go with my floral wardrobe rather than a strong punky one.
I'm really excited about it. =D

Eco Kitty!

I would just like to applaud the Hello Kitty UK magazine for it's section on being a Hello Kitty Eco Warrior. I've never bought it before, but was enticed my the lovely stickers that came free, and was just in the mood. There aren't articles that require a lot of reading but there are lots of pretty Kitty images. =]
Anyway, I think it's a great idea to make children aware of environmental issues and to get them to recycle and such. My personal favourite is 'put on an extra jumper instead of turning the heating on'. It's too easy to go put the radiator on, when an extra layer will do just as well.
Speaking of Hello Kitty, I'm planning a HK tea party for my 18th. =D I'm also dying my hair (sections only) pink(!), which I've been planning for years but now I'm at a college that shouldn't expel me for it. I'm sure Blair Waldorf and Charlotte York would not approve but it'll be fun and the appointment's booked, I'm going for a Rachel McAdams look if anyone remembers when she went partially pale pink.
Now I am very sleepy and ought to be thinking about getting to bed. Lots of work to do towards my coursework projects in the coming week.

Luella Love on Polyvore

Some Luella loveiness via Polyvore. I so want that pink bag! (I have a major weakness for pink patent type items, oh yes, and florals if you hadn't noticed) =D

Thinking pink

Brightening up my winter wardrobe with some bold pink accessories:
This brooch was bought at the same recent Dorothy Perkins spree as my cream snood, as were the gloves for that matter. I like lace, I like pearls and I like pink so there wasn't that much room to go wrong really! An absolute bargain at £2.40, plus it has a clip on the back too so it can be put on lapels or even in my hair! The headband is a few months old from Oasis, another bargain I do believe.
And the gloves. I'm really pleased with them as I like chic, slim-fitting gloves but not leather ones.
Hooray for pink! =]

I'm loving...

This vivid pink Nails Inc nail polish which came free with this month's Glamour magazine. Deffinitely worth getting this or one of the other four colours, as my favourite brand normally costs £10.50 or so and the magazine costs only £2. It's really good quality and this one's such a fun coloue. Cover girl Leighton Meester also has the most amazing hair.. but no headband! Blair would not approve. ;)
Not all Glamour content is tailored to me but the British version does have exceptionally good styling (I haven't really read the other versions and they could well have too! But I know the British one does). A few months ago there was the most lovely editorial- just about every look had some ss09 Luella in it. A lovely concoction or candy coloured tweeds and florals. Bliss.

Pink Toothbrush

Who wants to brush their teeth with a normal toothbrush when they could have a pink Paul Smith one?!
Well actually, it may not be the best thing for brushing teeth (as I was told when I bought it) and I'm never going to use it, but it's a little piece of fabulousness.

I've been busy drawing the headpiece I photographed for the blog yesterday this afternoon, the netting is being tricky, but I hope to put it on here in a day or two- when I said 'tomorrow' I forgot that I am going to Tatton Park and will be busy nearly all day.
