LFW Street Style: We All Live in a Yellow Submarine

I absolutely loved Roisin's first colourful London Fashion Week outfit and if it's even possible this one was even more cheerful! I really love how the bright yellow and blue stand out in this look and how incredible is her The Rodnik Band yellow submarine coat? Definitely a brand I shall be investigating further! The nautical look is finished off with some cute stripes, rather fabulous Tatty Devine eyelash sunglasses and an adorable Now, Voyager boat fascinatior.

London Fashion Week Street Style Miu Miu Swallow Shoes Pink
One of the many things I love about London Fashion Week is the people you get to meet and how could I possibly miss the beautiful Roisin at Somerset House when her look was such a ray of sunshine?
Cute as a cupcake, I must confess to being pretty envious of her entire outfit from her glittering swallow shoes to the the My Little Pony on her phonecase. Then there's the matter of her amazing vintage hair styling and adorable Now, Voyager hair accessories which really made me smile.
Throughout the week Roisin showcased such an amazing sense of style so it's no surprise really that she's a fashion stylist. You can find examples of her gorgeous work on her page The Fashion Mermaid Stylist.

High Street Hits: Bunny Bananza

I really love spotting wild bunnies, and I'm lucky to live near an area where you can often spy them basking in the sun on a Summer's evening. However, though I love rabbits all year round they're most commonly associated with Spring as far as fashion is concerned. As much as I love Spring pastels bunnies are also a rather adorable motif for the colder months too, currently seen in a more natural, muted colour palette. About this time last year I spotted a really cute H! By Henry Holland bunny t-shirt in Debenhams and fell in love with it. Likewise the exact same thing has happened again this year, but this time featuring a bunny wrapped up all cosy and warm in a scarf. So I decided to investigate what other little furry friends are hopping their way into our wardrobes this Autumn/Winter...

Hyper Japan!

I was such an incredibly excited bunny to wake up to the morning of Hyper Japan February 2012. I'd been looking forward to it ever since spying tweets during the last one and hearing how amazing it was! Arriving at the event my curiosity was immediately piqued by so many stands of intriguing things!
The spectacle which is Hyper Japan is a J-Culture event on a huge scale in London and spanned three days from Friday to Sunday with exciting performances and fascinating panels happening each day! Sadly I could only attend on Friday which is a real shame as I missed both the fashion shows and cosplay parades! The next event has been announced for 23rd-25th November and I'm already such an excited bunny looking forward to it!
My afternoon started with modelling in the Sake Awards with other lolitas, which was both fantastic fun and an honour. Hyper Japan is a wonderfully social occasion and it was lovely to have a good chat with fellow blogger Faye, see some lolitas I already knew from the Midlands and North-West communities and meet others from around the country! Everyone was so friendly and I met some really lovely people.
Soon I was off exploring the stalls and frequently having major Hello Kitty geek outs. I bought some really lovely things which deserve a blog post of their own, though the accessories have already been creeping into a lot of outfit posts! I hope you'll enjoy my snapshots of the day and hopefully I will see some of you in November!
